Archie

We had to say goodbye to our beautiful boy, Archie on the 9th of September. 
He was our first dog, after always being cat people we adopted Archie for our daughter’s 16th birthday.
We instantly fell in love with his gentle character and he soon became part of the family. He loved his toys and made us laugh every day when he would bring a toy to show us (but not to touch!)
When we found ourselves taking in two dogs in need of a home, he accepted them immediately and happily shared his precious toys with them.
After a cancer diagnosis and seeing him struggle with intervertebral disc disease, we knew we had to make a terrible decision.
When Mark came to the house we soon felt reassured. He talked us through everything and waited until we felt ready. It was a lovely, peaceful ending for Archie, comfy in his own bed with his family around him.  Thank you Mark for your kindness and compassion.
